ATD Book Banter Community of Practice: Adam Grant's Hidden Potential

March 21, 2024

11:30 AM - 1:00 PM – Virtual

In our first session of ATD Book Banter, we will explore Adam Grant’s new book Hidden Potential.

Hidden Potential explores how anyone can achieve great things by developing character skills, sustaining motivation, and creating opportunity systems. It challenges the myths of innate talent and prodigy and offers practical advice for unlocking one’s own and others’ potential.

This session is for you if, you are an ATD member, member-curious, and anyone interested in discussing books, like Hidden Potential, through a talent development perspective. We want to hear your perspective, and welcome you whether you’ve read the book, skimmed the book, read the chapters that interest you, read a summary, watched a YouTube summary, watched an interview with Adam Grant, or want to learn from your peers and share your experience. You are welcome! Please, come and share ideas, build knowledge, and make connections with each other and our work.

ATD Book Banter meets bi-monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month: March 21st, May 16, July 18, September 19, & November 21.

Club meetings will last 90 minutes and start at 11:30-1:00 with time for virtual networking.

We believe learning and growing together is fun. In the sessions we will talk about a book, ideas in the book, and how those ideas apply to our work and to our lives.
