Change Leadership Community of Practice: Leading Change through Transition

Registration capacity for this event is now full.

January 27, 2023

9 AM - 10:30 AM – Modernwell

This session provides a framework and tools for managing transition, the human side of change. Transition is not just another word for change, change involves the emergence of a new situation, and is usually external. Transition, is the psychological reorientation that people go through as they come to terms with those events and the new situation. Change can take place very quickly. Transition is on a different time frame, not directly calibrated with change. Transition may take a long time, perhaps starting even before the change takes place and usually continuing log after it is complete. Transition happens internally, facilitating transition must occur for change to be successful.

Participants will…

  • Understand that change management is both an art and a science.
  • Walk away with a few practical examples of how to leverage brain-based activities along with the typical change management toolkit to facilitate transformation in organizations.
  • Think differently – knowing that change is dependent on everyone’s individual ability to shift and that requires we find new ways to get people onboard.

This program is FREE for all ATD-GTC members. Members may bring one complimentary, registered guest.
