As the learning and development industry has rapidly evolved during the past couple years, the CHS learning and development function has evolved to meet the needs of our employees and our customers. A strategy was developed utilizing learning trends, a market analysis, and employee and customer input to develop a path forward to building the future of learning at CHS. CHS is the nation's leading farmer-owned cooperative and a global energy, grains and foods company. As Senior Director of Learning and Development, Husby leads a team which engages with both internal CHS employees and leaders and our member cooperatives to identify, create and develop mutually beneficial learning and development opportunities, offerings, and programs. A strong emphasis in the learning and development services are the development academies. These academies provide an opportunity for both CHS leaders and member cooperatives to learn, grow, and develop their leadership, business and functional skills and capabilities. The learning team also provides services for specific development needs, coaching engagements, and formal feedback.
