Transforming Learning: Medtronic - Leader-led team learning to activate a culture change Jan. 10, 2023 12:00-1:00 PM – Virtual Event To support a culture transformation and the introduction of a new set of leadership behaviors called the Medtronic Mindset, the Medtronic learning team, with its partner TiER1 Performance, designed a digital, interactive program supported with leader-led learning to help activate this change. Over six weeks, leaders and their teams work together to determine how best to bring the mindset to life within their own team context and environment. In this session, program leaders from Medtronic will describe the reason for the development of the Living Our Mindset program and share early results of this initiative. Meet the Presenter: Michael Smith is responsible for strategy, design, and deployment of core leadership, career development, and coaching programs for Medtronic. Prior to this role, Mike served in several talent and organization development roles at Fortune 500 organizations where he focused on leadership development, talent management, organization development, and team effectiveness. Previously, he was in sales and account management roles, after starting his career as a newspaper reporter. He and his family live in Minnesota.
