In 2020, Medtronic faced a challenge; how to engage health care providers in learning more about critical therapies and products while avoiding the need to set aside additional time to learn. As the pandemic prevented reps from visiting with their customers, Learning Leaders had to find a new way to deliver key skills, insights, research findings and build new skills in their customers with a dramatically new approach that would drive engagement and ultimately product preference. Medtronic's PACE team will introduce the hurdles they faced, the industry norms they had to overcome and their approach to creating a disruptive approach to training to ultimately drive customer loyalty.
