As a result of recent changes in industries and organizations throughout Minnesota, we’ve heard an increased in interest from our members in improving their digital presence through LinkedIn. In partnership with the National Institute for Social Media, ATD will be offering a, fully online, LinkedIn workshop series that will be free for our members.

Over the course of three weeks, members will be encouraged to attend weekly live workshops and participate in online discussion boards between sessions.

The online course materials will be made available on Monday, April 20th and the webinar sessions will take place on

  • Wednesday, April 22nd
  • Wednesday, April 29th
  • Wednesday, May 6th

Since LinkedIn is the largest professional networking site available, you’ve probably already got an account set up. But are you maximizing your digital presence? Whether you have networking, educational, or sales goals, there are changes you can make to your profile, activity you can add to your feed, and simple engagement techniques that can boost your personal brand equity and increase your reach on LinkedIn.

In this three-part webinar series held each week, we’ll explore updates for your profile, content ideas for your news feed, and engagement techniques that can help you be successful in any industry.

This workshop will teach you:

Session 1 - How to write a winning LinkedIn profile that communicate your critical projects and successes that demonstrate your knowledge and expertise

Session 2 - How to position yourself as a thought leader by creating original content through blogging, sharing content from other sources, and how to comment and share on posts created by others

Session 3 - How to strategically build your network and engaging in a meaningful way

Instructor:  Amy Jauman, Ed. D.

Dr. Amy Jauman is the Chief Learning Officer for the National Institute for Social Media, an Associate Professor at St. Mary's University of Minnesota, and an Adjunct Professor in Business and Marketing at St. Catherine's University and is the author of the Comprehensive Field Guide for Social Media Strategists.
