Topic: Type Motivators & Saboteurs: The Angels & Demons on Your Shoulders

Type, popularized by the MBTI, describes many of the positive motivators that drive our careers, relationships and passions. However, we develop other habits of mind to meet our needs for independence, acceptance and security. Known as ‘saboteurs’, those same drivers are what we go to for efficiency and to get our needs met. When we do, we can become our own worst enemies. Add stress to the mix and the results are not as anticipated. And what happens when people with different ‘saboteurs’ interact? We can set off other people, especially if we are at odds with each other. Working with the vocabulary of the saboteurs’ framework adds richness to our understanding of how type opposites clash when they see the world differently, and practical pathways to more productive encounters.

Join our presenters Jane Kise, Ed.D. and Ann Czajka Holm, MS PCC CPCC, for the keynote address they delivered at the Australian Type Conference in October. Hear their research about the connection between personality type and a Saboteur Profile, as described by Shirzad Chamine in Positive Intelligence.

If you plan to attend, take the FREE Saboteur Profile at: https://www.positiveintelligence.com/assessments/

NOTE: If you have a topic to share or a discussion you’d like to lead with our supportive and whip-smart group of coaches & trainers, please contact us about presenting at a meeting in 2019: Julie Berg, julie@julie-berg.com or Cindy Edwards,  cindy@tofindyourfit.com. It’s pro bono but the networking is of unsurpassed value! All we ask is that your focus be on topics and issues faced by coaches working with organizations.
