The Performance Improvement SIG discusses approaches to analyzing and closing gaps in human performance. This group explores ways to identify and address a variety of factors that influence performance, such as employee knowledge and skills, work process design, the availability of information and resources, managerial support, and motivational factors.

Topic: Using Motivation Systems to Improve Performance The Human Performance Improvement model lists motivation as one possible cause for gaps in staff performance. Workers’ performance can be influenced by their level of interest, enthusiasm, and commitment. We will explore a variety of interventions focused on improving motivation.
