Description: We intend to show how useful engagement tools can be created for all roles and level of user in an organization, plus demonstrate an innovative participatory process that can be recreated for engagement purposes and which ATD members will actively participate in.

Attendees will learn:

  • various definitions of engagement
  • review the importance of the engagement agenda to businesses
  • how to create a comprehensive toolkit on engagement
  • how to use technology to help people engage with engagement
  • how to conduct an innovative participatory process around engagement to engage people in engagement strategies.

Speakers: Lea Bittner-Eddy, Corey Bonnema, and Dave Dorman

Lea, Corey and Dave are consultants previously of the U of M’s Leadership and Talent Development unit. Lea specializes in organizational effectiveness and wellbeing, Corey specializes in manager and supervisor training and Dave specializes in participatory process. They collaborated to develop a toolkit of resources on employee engagement for use across the U of M.
