Thrivent Financial’s decentralized organization created the demand for learning that no one wanted to pay for or give time for. And, as an IT organization that supports legacy systems to the latest technical trends, finding quality learning resources was very difficult. Since our solution is only made up of industry-standard solutions, this presentation will focus on how we interpreted “opt in” online learning measurements into meaningful business needs conversations. During this session attendees will learn:

• The importance of crafting a story around the business need rather than just learning needs
• How to get a lot of measurement from a little effort/data
• How to use information for "double duty", which is especially important when Excel Reports are your only LMS
• How you have a good discussion on the value of efforts when you aren't working towards any specific objectives.
